Product design, design for manufacturing (DFM) & design for assembly (DFA)
Through coupling DFM & DFA methodologies manufacturing processes can be evaluated in a virtual environment to help mitigate risk before moving to production.
Design optimisation & lightweighting
PEM staff are experienced in optimising existing designs, removing unnecessary cost while improving design performance.
Non-conventional machining
PEM staff have extensive experience in the development, application & refining of non-conventional machining methods.
Simulation Modelling
Creating and analysing computerised, mathematical, or statistical models of a physical system can be used to predict its performance in the real world. PEM has access to software to support the Simulation Modelling offering.
